CUSTOM PRICING
Machine quilting = $.013 per square inch
Backing fabric = $.004 per square inch
Batting is the current price of package batting
Simply measure your quilt's length and width, then mulitply those two numbers to find your square inches.
Low loft polyester batting is included in the price.
Binding is extra, if you choose this service.
If the backer is not assembled and pressed there will be $8 charge. This fee is over and above the minimum price.
**Please note: $45 is the minimum price per quilt, for quilting, regardless of size**
Lets estimate price:
Example 1:
Say your quilt is a conservative full size measuring 52" x 78". Your total square inches is 52 x78 = 4056
4056 is your *magic* number.
Karen will provide the polyester batting and you provide the back. Lets say, for this example, that you are also planning on doing your own binding.
4056 x $.013 = $52.73 for the quilting service.
shipping is NOT included in this price

Example 2:
Say your quilt is 90" x 90" Mulitply those two numbers together to find your square inches. 90 x 90 = 8100.
8100 is your *magic* number.
Lets say you want the quilting service and you'd like Karen to provide 108" wide flannel or cotton backer.
8100 x $.013 = $105.30
PLUS
8100 x $.004 = $32.40
Giving you a total of $137.70
shipping is NOT included in this price

Binding (any size):
Machine applied binding- $20
Machine applied and hand stitched- $40
**You will need to provide fabric for the binding to ensure it matches your quilt top.**
Prices include polyester low loft batting and a single color thread. Quilting is done in a meandering pattern.
You must provide the quilt top (of course) and fabric for binding, if you opt to have your quilt bound by Karen. If you choose to furnish your own backer be sure to increase all sides by at least 4 inches for setting up on the machine.
Karen will provide the back fabric for a small fee of $.004/sq inch. You may also choose to upgrade your batting for an additional cost as well.
Prices do not include return postage on your fabulous new quilt. Send an email to karensquiltingservice@hotmail.com with any questions you have regarding the finishing of your next quilt top. Also, check out www.karensquiltingservice.com

I am way behind on post. I am trying to make sure that everyone in my family has at least one warm "made with love quilt". Here are pics of my nieces quilts. My daughter had sent me the green material from Korea, because I asked for some kind of green. That was some green material. The other fabrics in the green quilt all came for Korea at different times. I was so surprised when this quilt turned looking really COOL!!! Once it was finished everyone was impressed, including me.
